Library Orientation: Information Session & Library Tour In-Person

Dear Peer Facilitator,

We are pleased to invite you and your student group to the UWC Library Orientation Programme, designed to introduce essential library services and resources that will support their academic journey.

Registration

📝 Register by Monday, 5th February (by 20h00) to secure your session. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email—please present this as your entry ticket!

Delivery Mode

📍 In-Person Session | Library Auditorium, Level 1, Main Library (Limited seating per session)

Purpose and Learning Objectives:

This programme equips new students with a solid understanding of library facilities, resources, and how to utilise them for academic success.

By the end of the session, students will be able to:

✅ Navigate the library’s physical and online resources
✅ Understand borrowing, renewals, and returns
✅ Identify study spaces and subject-specific resources
✅ Engage with librarians for course support

Key Information:

📌 Entrance: Use the Library Auditorium entrance (opposite EMS faculty building entrance). Sessions start 10 minutes after the scheduled time i.e. the 11h00 session will start promptly at 11h10—punctuality is essential!
