WORKSHOP PURPOSE

Guide reseachers through the benefits of establishing an online footprint by creating an online profile such as Google Scholar as well as a persistent unique identifier (ORCID). Take researchers through the integration of the ORCID profile with popular research networking platforms (ResearchGate and Linkedin).

WORKSHOP CONTENT

  • Unpack Researcher Identity
  • Create an ORCID account and authenticate UWC affilated ORCID account
  • Manage researcher profiles
  • Explore Research Networking Platforms
  • Research dissemination and self-archiving options
