Purpose:

You will learn about referencing and how to avoid plagiarism.


Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training, you should be able to:

  • Understand what plagiarism means, why it's important to avoid it;
  • Give credit to the original ideas of others through proper attribution and citation;
  • Cite sources using a standard citation style in order to use information ethically;
  • Understand the importance of Plagiarism Checkers–Turnitin.
