Purpose:

This session aims to demystify AI, emphasising its ethical implications and practical applications in everyday life. Rather than diving deep into the technical workings of AI, we'll explore what AI means for you as an undergraduate student, a future professional, and a digital citizen.


Learning Objectives:

Participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of basic AI concepts;
  • Learn about the ethical considerations of AI use, including privacy, bias, and fairness;
  • Understand the importance of critical thinking when interacting with AI technologies;
  • Get an overview of the technical side of AI to appreciate its possibilities and limitations.
