The UWC Library invites you to participate in a Digital Literacies training opportunity on “Online Safety & Security".

Purpose:

Staying safe online is essential in today's world. In this session you will get an introduction to Internet safety by understanding the risks and learning how to avoid them.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will:

  • Create a strong, safe password;
  • Understand your browser's security features and how they work;
  • Enable “private web browsing” and “Do Not Track” features to increase your privacy while browsing the internet.
