About the Webinar:
Proficiency in various literacies is crucial for students to foster lifelong learning. Critical literacies, such as the capacity to interact with information across diverse platforms and the ability to assess information with a sceptical mindset, are vital components.
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly prevalent in educational environments, it is essential for students to navigate predictive and generative intelligence. However, these concerns inevitably arise: Could our students become overly reliant on AI technologies, potentially leading to a loss of their ability to independently utilise information? Could students' critical thinking skills be compromised by reliance on AI?
This webinar will introduce the audience to various expert perspectives on the impact that AI has on critical literacies in student learning.
