The UWC Library invites you to participate in a generic training opportunity on “Search Strategies”, specifically designed for undergraduate students.

Purpose:

To equip participants with essential research skills for effective information retrieval and search strategy development.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training, you should be able to:

  • Select and refine appropriate keywords to locate relevant resources such as books, articles, and websites.
  • Apply various search techniques, including controlled vocabulary, keywords, and natural language, to enhance search results.
  • Recognise that initial search attempts may require refinement to achieve optimal results.
